Rihanna is to make her Hollywood debut in new action movie Battleship.
The Umbrella singer will star alongside True Blood's Alexander Skarsgard and Friday Night Lights' Taylor Kitsch in a big screen adaptation of the classic naval combat board game, Variety reports.
Peter Berg, who has worked with Taylor on NBC series Friday Night Lights, will direct the film, which takes place across the seas, over the skies and land in a battle for planet survival against a superior force.
